Persistence
Accumulation or reduction that repeats across usable disclosure transitions, rather than appearing once.

LoadingWhat pattern is present?
A holdings change can be a one-off. Ownership Signals names the pattern, and can search for the stocks that show it.
Signal strength describes how pronounced the observed ownership pattern is. It is not a view on the stock, and no recommendation is made.
What it reads
The same families apply whether you name a stock or ask Stake Trace to search Nifty 500.
Signal familiesOne stock, or Nifty 500
Why we built it
Persistence, breadth, new positions, exits, acceleration and reversals are measured from the same normalised holdings as the other readings. A move that is large for this stock, compared with its own earlier transitions, is named separately from a move that is merely large.
Ask about one company and the response is detailed. Name several companies and they are compared. Ask Stake Trace to look across Nifty 500 and the response is a ranked list of stocks with a detected pattern. A price-return filter can sit beside that pattern, such as stocks whose price fell while mutual funds kept accumulating. The price return is context beside the ownership reading.
A stock with too few comparable transitions is reported as too thin to read. Strength runs from 0 to 100 and describes how pronounced the pattern is.
What it tells you
Accumulation or reduction that repeats across usable disclosure transitions, rather than appearing once.
Many schemes moving the same way, kept separate from a change concentrated in a few portfolios.
Schemes that newly appear in the stock, and schemes that leave the position entirely.
Accumulation or reduction that is speeding up across the window.
A turn from one direction to the other that a later transition has confirmed. A turn that is not yet confirmed stays pending.
A move that is large relative to the stock's own earlier transitions.
What it tells you
Send exactly one of a single stock, a list of stocks, or a universe.
A detailed reading: the primary pattern, any secondary patterns, and the measurements behind them.
The same classification for each company you list, returned so they can be compared.
Nifty 500, optionally inside named sectors, ranked to the pattern you ask for. A stock is classified the same way whether you name it or it is discovered.

MCP
The same intelligence available on Stake Trace can be queried by agents and applications through the Stake Trace MCP.
Analyze mutual-fund ownership signals for one or more specified stocks, or search a supported stock universe to discover stocks exhibiting meaningful mutual-fund ownership patterns. Signals: persistent accumulation/reduction, broad accumulation/reduction, new institutional interest/complete exits, accelerating flows, confirmed directional reversals, and moves unusual for the stock's own history. Optional market-return filters find patterns such as stocks whose price declined while mutual-fund ownership accumulated. Use `stock` for one named company (detailed response), `stocks` to compare named companies, or `universe` when the user wants Stake Trace to find matching stocks (compact ranked results). A stock is classified identically whether named or discovered. Signal strength (0-100) describes how pronounced the observed ownership pattern is; it is not a view on the stock, and no recommendation is made. Price return is context, never an explanation of why holders moved.
