Fund → sectors
Understand which sectors a particular fund is allocating toward or away from. This is capital rotation for one scheme, across sectors.

LoadingWhere is the capital moving?
Follow where institutional capital is moving.
Capital doesn't simply enter or leave portfolios. It gets reallocated. Stake Trace reconstructs allocation changes to show which sectors and stocks are gaining or losing institutional exposure.
Live example
Across institutions is the opening view. Switch to one mutual fund, or to the stocks inside a sector, when you want that cut. Both are the same capital rotation function.
Between 2026-07 and 2026-08, Insurance - Life gained the most notional exposure and Internet Retail lost the most. Notional figures are not cash.
All mutual funds. Jul 2026 → Aug 2026. Notional exposure, not cash. Ribbon width is the absolute notional change. It places reductions and additions in one view and does not trace a transfer from one sector into another.

Why we built it
A fund increasing one sector is often reducing another in the same disclosure. Looking at the increase on its own drops the other half of the decision.
Capital Rotation places additions and reductions in one comparison — across sectors, or across stocks inside a sector — for the mutual-fund panel or for one scheme.
Magnitudes are notional exposure: share-count changes valued at a reference price for the later period. They are not cash that moved.
What it tells you
Understand which sectors a particular fund is allocating toward or away from. This is capital rotation for one scheme, across sectors.
Understand broader changes in institutional sector allocation: which sectors gained notional exposure and which lost it. The reading ranks sectors. It does not trace a transfer from one named sector into another.
Understand which securities receive the incremental allocation inside a sector, for the whole panel or for one fund. Name the sector. The function ranks the stocks in it.

MCP
The same intelligence available on Stake Trace can be queried by agents and applications through the Stake Trace MCP.
Analyze how mutual-fund ownership exposure is rotating across sectors or stocks within a sector during a disclosure transition. Can analyze the mutual-fund industry collectively, one specific mutual fund, or a selected set of funds. Uses adjusted share-count changes for position direction and a common reference-price basis for cross-stock notional exposure comparisons. Returns gaining/reducing sectors or stocks, gross and net activity, concentration, concurrent opposing portfolio moves, and data-quality limitations. Notional exposure changes are not actual cash flows. Holder scope: omit both `fund` and `funds` for all mutual funds; send `fund` for one scheme; send `funds` for a selected set of schemes, read as one combined panel (`fund_mode` aggregate, the default) or one result per scheme (`fund_mode` individual). `holder_scope` in the response states which was used; results for selected schemes never describe the whole mutual-fund industry.
